EmpowerEd is an arena where cultural professionals can build the necessary expertise to engage more effectively with children and youth from diverse backgrounds. The project will consist of several events throughout 2025 aimed at training cultural professionals and opportunities for networking.
The events will include:
-
Seminars and Workshops: A series of practical, solution-driven sessions on topics like inclusive education, cross-cultural communication, and working with youth with disabilities. These sessions will be designed to offer actionable insights and resources that cultural educators and volunteers can apply directly to their work.
-
Team-Building Events: Interactive events aimed at creating strong networks among professionals and organizations. These sessions will focus on enhancing collaboration and ensuring a unified approach to inclusive practices within the cultural sector.
-
Development of Resources: The project will produce accessible guides, process descriptions, and open courses that can be shared with other organizations working in similar areas, ensuring that the knowledge gained extends beyond the immediate participants.
-
Each of the seminars will be recorded as much as possible, and resources resulting from these events will be made freely and publicly available online. This resource will be available not only to seminar participants, but to any person or organization interested in these topics.
The program will be organized according to target ages that participants are dealing with in their own work and organizations, and we will have focus on various fields. The online resources will also be categorized and searchable based on any of these factors.
